The Harrow Community Respiratory Service is seeking 2 enthusiastic and dynamic Respiratory Nurse Specialists to join the team. The post holders will work within the London Borough of Harrow, as part of CLCH’s Integrated Harrow Community Services for Adults. Within our integrated structure the Community Respiratory Service works with locality based Multidisciplinary Teams of nurses and therapists and our other specialist teams to provide holistic care and treatment for patients.
The Community Respiratory Service provides high standards of care to a diverse population with chronic respiratory disease. These roles also involve working closely with primary and secondary care teams, to provide specialist respiratory care and expert advice for the management of respiratory patients.
The post holders will become integral members of the team, which consists of Specialist Respiratory Nurses, a Physiotherapist, Respiratory Support Workers and Administration support, who provide Pulmonary Rehabilitation, an assessment and review Home Oxygen Service, Nurse Led Clinics, Case Management and Hospital at Home services.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to develop their clinical skills and expertise in an established and supportive team.
This position will allow you to gain advanced skills in assessing and treating patients in a community setting. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this post. A flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure, both as part of a team and independently is required. This job also involves the safe moving and handling of patient equipment as well as travel to various locations, which the successful candidates will be expected to undertake.
You will also need to be a car driver for this post.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
